Getting Spare Parts in Germany

Hello Guys,
I am desperatly seraching for a spare Part shop in Germany.
I contacted Velleman but they said, I should ask my Seller, but the Shop does not have spare parts.
So do anyone know a Shop based in Germany to sell spare noozle parts?
Thank you
Mirko

Conrad have don’t they?

Yes, you can order every velleman part at conrad but you have to pay an extra handling fee… Not ideal imho.
One of the biggest reasons I’m about to mount my E3D V6 nozzles is the hard to get overpriced spares for this printer… PEEK tube is redicioulis priced…

Kind regards

Btw what spares are you guys after?

Alright I did not see the parts on their main website, I suppose I have to contact them for that?
I ordered one of these E3D V6 nozzle off Amazon as well, they are extremly cheap. But they are too large as well. Did you get the noozle to work?
I am searching for the noozle itself and would like to replace the sensor aswell, because the insulation is broken.
The original noozle got stuffed very often.

Kind Regards,
Mirko

I have been considering getting the chimera and cyclops assembly from e3d. wondering if they wont be pritty good for this printer.

Reichelt will do…

They helped me with a few questions on spare parts

@marlark I’ve been looking into Chimera to… I’ve been looking into a way to mount it, but I only see a way which will reduce the Z-stage by approximately 20mm… I gave myself a christmas present and ordered one at 3ed yesterday… I first wanted to order the Legends pack but shocked me at 2 points first was the price… The price advertised on the site is WITHOUT VAT so eventually it would cost about 250€ to get a full pack. Second was the unavailability to order any extra cyclops nozzles??? I couldn’t find any on their site so I felt it was a “experiment” which seems to be more or less abandoned by now… Otherwise you’d think you could find any other nozzles right? So I ended up ordering the Chimera and 2 spare nozzles (0.35, 0.40) Now I’m planning to print a revised “XY CARRIAGE 2” (Middle section) With a mounting bracket And attaching it there… Advantage is that I don’t need to do much about the top of the carriage and most of the board can be reused… Plus I’ve already redesigned a Bottom Plate for the XY Carriage which points a stream of air towards the bottom of the nozzles (need to adjust the angle now because the chimera nozzles will be lower…) but that I’ve already did on the stock print-head… So I hope I won’t need any additional Cooling besides the “Always On” fan for the Chimera Heat-sink and the turbine fan on top which will work as a Extrude Cooler afterwards. Huge advantage is gaining Print-space in front and I can get rid of the redicioulis small front fan. Only drawback at this point is loosing Z height…

Did you have any other ideas on how to mount this “Beast” as they call it? Blond Super models aren’t the brightest so any ideas are always welcome

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards

The chimera and cyclops uses the same nozzles wish is the v6 nozzles for their single nozzle design. They have them as fun packs with a bunch of dif sizes and they also have in dif materials for use when using surtain types of filaments. The kraken is the one with special nozzles and they do exist as spares also.

The legendary pack is what im looking on also. As you said the trick is the height of that thing it is 49,8mm high.

It is a interesting problem hehe  you do gain Y as you said but you also gain X in a way with the cyclops with multi extrusion. Wonder if the loss of Z aint worth it considering i have never printed anything over 160+ anyway and i am not even shure i will ever do that anyway.

NOPE cyclops is a different nozzle my friend…
check the wiki page of the E3D website
This Page

look under the cyclops section and more particular this line:

Cyclops Nozzle:

V6 Nozzle:

And yes I pretty much felt the same with the Z height… Just got a mail Fedex is going to deliver on Thursday WOOHOOO Christmas comes soon this year :stuck_out_tongue:

Your correct and i was wrong on another thing it was the Vulcano that had a dif nozzle fitting also not the kraken.

Strange there isnt a spare for that.

Exactly what I thought… That’s why I didn’t ordered the Legends pack cuz it’s the same as those velleman nozzles…
Makes me think they pretty much abandoned the whole idea tbh but I could be wrong
