Hello everybody,
I’m new in digital electronics. But a want to make an interface between my motorcycle and my laptop using the K8055 and the IPE software. So i can make a nice display from engine temperatures, oil temeperatures, pressures, revolution counter etc…
So my questions are:
Where can i find information about input and output devices that are used.
Are there examples movies, pictures, drawings from projects made by other forum users?
Do you have any tips
All help is welcome
Thanks
Best regards
Jazzy

I’m not familiar with that IPE interface you’re talking about. Do you have any pointers?

They can be measured quite easily, ofcource depending on how accurate do you want to get readings. example LM35 works good with K8055. You get 10mV in 1°C, so 1V in 100°C.
But to measure revolutions you can use encoder, but you will be able to do it only with slow revolutions, like 50 Hz at max, because the sampling frequency should be at least 2xfmax. K8055 is very slow for that.
