Hi to everybody,
this is my first discussion. I’d like to know if it is possible to set a different temperature of the filament during the first layer printing. I’m using repetier with CURA Engine. Is it possible?
Best regards
Nino

I might be wrong here sins i am not sitting in front of my computer (and i use S3D for the most) but i do believe you need a plugin for it (saw one a while back) or just mod the gcode with a M104 command for the print your doing sins i am not shure cura have that ability. Anyone that is sitting in front a computer should be able to correct me if im sailing on the blue sea. But i do believe Slic3r have the ability if you want to have a go at that instead.

Hi Marlark,
thank you for your reply. As you said, in Slic3r there is this setting, but I don’t found it in CURA. Could you tell me the correct gcode string?
Put in
M104 S245 T0
M109 S245 T0
After the first layer in the gcode (After the end of layer should say something like “; layer end”) S245 is the heat you want in Celsius at that point in the code and onward T0 tell you what printhead you want it on 0 is the right one and 1 is the left one.

ok thank you so much!
