First layer printing on loop!

I am having an issue with, whatever software(Repeteir & Cura), my printer only printing the first layer of whatever i am printing, stopping and cooling down about 10 degrees (while leaving a massive blob), then moves to home, heats up again then prints the first layer again(it is not building up the second, third or fourth layer it is the first). It then repeats this forever and refuses to stop. Though it will print a raft/brim completely fine first then do the same looping steps but also tries to print the raft/brim again to0.

What am i doing wrong?

Are you printing from an SD card or a computer?
Have you tried to reload the firmware?

Hi, Tethered connection. How would i go about updating the firmware : K8200 No LCD. Do you have a download

Are you using the version of Repetier for the K8200?

You follow the Firmware instructions in this link.
http://www.k8200.eu/manual/printing/?c=007
You can not use Arduino software above 1.0.6 you can find it in this link.

Hi, got the firmware to update but when i tried the repetier software u suggested i got it to connect but it would just say “43 Commands waiting” or something along dat lines. The printer still behaves the same as before if i use cura

Click on the printer settings.
Under connection make sure the baud rate is 250000.
You have the correct comport.
and that Reset on Connect is set to Disabled.

Yep i made sure that is was the correct settings, made no difference
