Filter on option when using library waves

There is no reference in the help file to what the Filter on do when a wave is loaded from the library.
I would appreciate documentation about this feature

Thanks,

Joseph
There is no reference in the help file to what the Filter on do when a wave is loaded from the library.
This is the only text about the filter in the generator help:
The output of the generator is equipped with a low pass filter. This filter is used to eliminate any imperfections and noise caused by the D/A converter. When generating user defined waveforms in LIB mode you can activate or deactivate the filter. When generating the standard waveforms, the filter is automatically set by default.

The filter is a simple single stage RC low-pass filter.
R = 4.7k
The C depends on the frequency range selected:
0.1Hz: 10uF
1Hz: 1uF
10Hz: 100nF
100Hz: 10nF
1kHz: 1nF
10kHz: 82pF
100kHz: 10pF
2MHz: no C

Thanks for your prompt reply. and for your detailed info

Good work
