Filament unloading

Hi Guys,

What is the best practice? Are you unloading filament after each print. How many days can I have it loaded into the printer.

I’ve had some clogged nozzle and I thought maybe it is a good idea to unload filament.

I appreciate your answers.

Sincerely,

PLA too but it tends to break (if it’s too cool, if there’s too much humidity) It also vary with the brand : some lower quality filaments are very brittle. I have a spool of Polymakr PLA loaded for month now and it never broke.

Leaving the filament loaded doesn’t clog the nozzle. Too much heat do.

dear raby,

Thanks for your excellent answer. That means, clogged nozzle has nothing to do with loaded filament. I let it be.

Have a nice day…

With regards…
