Dear friends,
I got the same problem as others that my filament gets stuck in the hotend. So far, my solution was to disassemble the hotend and remove the filament. After reading through the posts to this topic I found a way that works aparently for me:
[ul]
[li] move head into (100,100,40) position[/li]
[li] heat hotend to 250 degree celsius[/li]
[li] leave on high temperature for at least 15 minutes[/li]
[li] in my case, a drop of melted filament with a diameter of 1.5 mm and 3 mm length came out of the hotend[/li]
[li] unload filement using the menu, support the pullback by pulling on the filament (not ripping)[/li]
[li] the filement will not unload correctly, so you have to open the screw at the extruder motor to remove the filament as there is a thicker end to it[/li]
[li] Auto Home the printer (via frontpanel LCD menu)[/li]
[li] load filament and print a small test item (thingiverse.com/thing:883/#files)[/li][/ul]
Hopefully this prevents you from taking the printer apart.
Any comments by experianced printer users are welcome!!!
Ciao, Mathias
