I’m looking for a website (I’m from Europe) that sells test-packages of filament. I would love to have multiple colors PLA for printing and would like to test out filament like Nylon, wood, PET etc… But buying a complete spool of every kind would quickly result in hundreds of euro’s investment, and well it’s a hobby, not a business. Then with a package with different kinds you can see which you like most and maybe buy a complete spool of that color/kind.
Are there websites that sell packages like this? Or are there members on the forum with allot of different spools that make these kind of packages?

3dfilaprint sells 10m wraps of ABS and PLA in different colours. £2.95 each.
Not sure if they do other materials though, but at least you could play with the colours.

I use 3dfilaprint, really good for service, never had a problem with them before.

I’d leave out the Nylon.
I did get it (the Taulman 618 variant, to be precise) to work after a few trial runs, but I did expect more from it. Tensile strength is low, both ABS and PLA parts of the same dimensions seem a lot stronger. Confirmed with a tensile test; only really good value is the elongation at break. Warping is high, so most parts came out bent, even those that did stick perfectly during the print.

Btw what other brands of PLA have already been tested by people on the forum? There are interesting deals on the internet, that come out much cheaper then buying the Velleman approved spools
I checked out the [censored] website, they are doing a clearance on 3mm filament and I cannot find any other filament then a few rolls now in clearance. Am I missing something, is 3mm filament dying out?

€ 20,5 per spool of 1kg, this is the cheapest I could find for the moment. Now I’m just wondering if the quality of this filament is the same as the more expensive spools (26 € or more per spool)
I ordered 2 spools from 123print, I hope the quality is as good as the price I paid for them
