Filament doesn't overlap/touch

So I’m slowly learning more and more about my printer but have some questions for you experienced guys. First, my first layer is never completely filled. What’s the strategy to handle this? More extrusion, higher temp? Something else? See this pict:

Related to this is that filament seem to be a bit too “dry”/thin/not viscose enough so sometimes the laid filament doesn’t even touch the previous layer it should attach to. See this:

What should I do to improve this?

I have carefully adjusted belts and rods for optimal parallelism and printer works fine in that aspect. Nozzle to bed is 0.35 mm. And I’m sliciing with Simplify3D if someone wonders.

Hi,
I would start printing with std Vertex s/w (Repertier) instead of other 3d part. I see 2 possible causes:
1/ Wrong Z-stepping (not 0.1 mm/layer)
2/ To less extrusion

The nozzle distance seems a bit too high also.

I lowered the distance to 0.20mm and indeed, the result is much better! Still have a little way to go, object should stick a little better to the plate.

Your home position Z axis must around 0,20mm the thickness of a double folded printpaper of 80grams

Not sure i follow you… My home Z is now 0,20mm. Should it be more than that you mean?

Nozzle distance should be 0.15mm to 0.2mm depending on the flatness of your printbed surface.
