Fault on motherboard K8200?

I looked around extensively on the forum, but I can’t find an answer to this one:

I’ve completed the build of my K8200, found out that one of the stepper motor drivers was faulty, and replaced that. Everything on the machine is working just fine (drivers at 0.55v, all endstops open etc etc). I noticed that, when steering the printer from the software, a red LED lights up on the motherboard, on whatever axis I address.

This is my question. The LED of the x-axis on the motherboard lights up continuously. This happens every time I hook the printer up to the 15v power supply. The x-stepper motor does not move the carriage. The motor only produces a faint humming. I have no error codes in my Repetier software (V0.95F). Is this a known issue that I can fix myself, or do I have to send in the motherboard for analysis?

Hello DutchPartisan,

If you swap the X axis stepper motor driver with other working one,
and the red LED of X axis continues to light up on the motherboard.
Then there is indeed a defect on the motherboard.
