Fan Timer VM154 becomes active and remains active

I bougth the VM154 module today and installed it (appliation 2).
The module becomes active without the light trigger and does not turn off the FAN.

Please can anybody tell whats wrong?

What load did you use?
Make sure lamp switch interrupts the ‘L’ and not the ‘N’.

The L ~ N was connected to 230 VAC. The L X was connected to light switch. The L (M) N was connected to the FAN.
This according to Application 2 diagram. With the light switch off the FAN became active and did run constantly. I turned everythink down after 30 minutes, checked the wiring for any mistakes, but this was correct to the diagram.

My opinion is to put this module in the trassbin and by a professional fan relais.

We have to rely on the information that you supply, however, we still think a wiring problem is at the cause of troubles.
There is a two-year warranty on your module.
If you wish, you can return your module to your distributor for inspection/repair by our technical dept.

OK I will bring this back to the distributor to check the module.
