Fan start

Hello,
When i press start, then normally start the fans.
But now they don’t start.
Do you have an idea?

Did you changed the firmware or something else?

No, i don’t changed anything

If you are printing with 2 print heads the fans will not start until the second head starts heating.

No, i’ve one print head.

I am sure you have done this but I will ask anyway.
Did you check the screws on the green terminal block to make sure they are tight?
Did you try reseating the the plugs for the fans?
Is it just one fan that is not working or are both not working?

Maybe another silly question: did you change some settings in your slicer in between? Normally the fan control is managed by the software.

Do you have an old .gcode file where you definitely be sure that the fan was working? You may test this printout.

Otherwise I would be lost with your statement “when I press start”.

However, you may check the hardware functionality using the menu structure:

Control->Temperature->Fan speed.

A setting above 150 (max: 255) should definitely start the fans independent from any heating condition. It can be commanded with a terminal connection too:

M106 (optional: value like 150).

Good luck
