My left extruder doesn,t work any more.
The problem does not come from the motor itself an also not from his driver. (I have made some exchange to check)
The heater and temperature sensor are also fine.
So I think it should come from an issue on the motherboard.
Where should the problem be on the motherboard? What should I sheck in particular?
a not working extruder is not that typical problem, but it sometimes happens. Most of the times it is a mechanical problem (blockage by misalignment, by filament debris), I personally managed to burn an extruder motor. So to be confident that it is not one of the above failures I would propose to disassemble the left extruder motor and check it with the cable from the right extruder.
Since you are sure that the drivers are OK, there is no further specific check for this case as I know. You may reinstall the firmware to be sure that the code is not corrupted.
As a general improvement I would recommend to replace the diodes D5 and D6 with shottky diodes. With the assembled silicon diodes the core voltage of the motherboard is about 4.3V, while the ATMEGA should be operated with 4.5V minimum. I assume that this was the reason for some irregular behaviour of my printer. So maybe your motherboard is suffering a marginal save operating mode.
