My printer starts printing before the filament is coming out the print nozzle (all filaments) and therefore the first 2 linear inches of my print are missing.
Is there a G code I can add to the printer settings to extract 3 or 4 mm of filament before the printer starts the print?

You can try this gcode command to purge / prime nozzle:
Normally this is set in the “start Gcode” command in the software => printer settings.
Like this:
Other thing you can try is activate a skirt in slicer settings.

One thing that helps is heating the nozzle to the filament’s printing temperature before unloading. That usually softens the material enough to pull it out cleanly and reduces the chance of leaving a piece stuck inside the hotend.
