Expansion for the K8055 board

Hi together,

for a special application we need a RS232-expansion on the K8055 borad.
We want to connect a Faulhaber Servo motion controller to the board, but for this a RS232 interface is required.
Is it possible to contact the developer of the K8055 board to discuss a solution approach ?

Sorry, providing custom solutions or adapting existing products for custom purposes is something we do not offer.

Anyway, why would you need an RS232 port on the K8055?
If the PC that drives the K8055 is equipped with an RS232 port, it should work fine, and it does not require any modification, development or cost.

I didn’t have much time lately to work on the Open8055 project. And I won’t get to it next week either. But connecting a MAX232 to ports RC6 and RC7 (sacrificing digital inputs I4 and I5) is on my todo list.
