Error Max Temperature

Hi,

I finally mounted my 2 E3D V6 extruder, and while the right one is working perfectly, the left one has a MaxTemp error, displayed temp is 739/0. Did anyone already got this issue ?

I didn’t wanted to order a new termistor if there is any possibilities.

you propably switched the wire of the heatercardridge and the thermistor wire;)

Nope I did check. Thermistor in the middle, heater cartridge in the front one. :slight_smile:

Did you try swapping the thermistors since you have two? Then you’ll know if it works

You can disconnect the wires and check the resistance.
On the original thermistor at room temp you should see about 200K
The temp you are getting sounds like a short.
