Err:mintemp

Hello everybody

I’m new to this and I just bought a K8400, it’s installed and everything seemed to work, except when I tried to print something it didn’t work. I only got the message ‘ERR:MINTEMP’

I know this can have a few options why this message is put in so I already did the following things:

  • installed the firmware for 1 nozzle instead of 2
  • Checked the heating sensor (gives about 120K ohm)
  • checked cables

And it gets to 210°c and is able to cool down but the messages doesn’t disappear.
I even put a new sensor in it to be sure (have one for a second nozzle in the future)

I did however uploaded the software from arduino 1.6.9 (heard people saying it might not be good)
However when i check on my system it does say 1 nozzle.

For now I don’t really know what to do? Since I’m new to it, I don’t like to open everything up and perhaps make everything worse.
Anyone got an idea of what the problem might be?

Many thanks!

Greetings
Casper

So it was really my own fault!

I deleted the newest Arduino version and uploaded the firmware on the 1.0.6 and now everything works just fine!

Thanks for the support!

You’re welcome.
Happy printing!
