E3d hotend won't warm up

Well i have a problem with my newly installed e3d hotend. The thermistor works, if i keep my finger to the hotend the temperature will go up. But the heater cartridge for some reason does not work. Any idea how to fix that?

Or is there something i need to update in the firmware?

Are you using the heater from the K8200?
Is the led for the heater turning on?
Did you check the wiring?

No, im using the the heater from the e3d kit. I haven’t checked if the LED was on. I’ll check it when im back home
