So i recently upgraded my vertex, but im having issues with the second nozzle not printing where it should. Any suggestions?
Did you change the software to dual head?
Of course.
The reason I asked is on the screen it looks like you did not combine the different colors.
Thats because i removed the offset in printer settings, thought it would help…
Any help guys?
Hi Jake
It is possible for the printheads to get missaligned on assembly. I use the dual head config with a very simular (had a smaller offset on X axis then on Y thow, yours look like it is the same on both) problem and i had to reassemble the printhead a litle because i managed to sort of not mount it strait (The metal plate is what i mean) on the axis block. Might be worth looking on for you if you managed todo the same thing i did. I had to adjust the X axis in the software after i had the Y axis aligned. And that was my solution to get the second nozzle to print aligned with the first.
I hope this helps solv your issue.
Best regards,
Marlark

Okay thanks for the help, but where in the software do i find the settings for that?
In printer settings under extruder section you should have 2 extruders in the list below. under extruder 2 there is 2 settings for offset X and offset Y in mm the X one is by default -23.7 mm what i did was just remessure that after i straitened up the plate. the offset Y is possible todo i think also in repetier but i use simplify3d and it works a litle diferent in that and i wanted a strait printhead.
