If a install the ftdichip driver.
Than i see no USB Serial Port.( I see only COM1 & COM2)
Does anyone know a solution …
I use a PC with Windows XP.

Do you have the printer plugged in?
Are the lights flashing on the control board?
Hi Wrong Way,
The LED just blincked when connect to the voltage. (I can adjust the voltage on the board op 4,25 volt).
I have switcht on and off the PC with the USB cable, but i see nothing changing in the software, i see no USB port …
I think that there must be first communication with the printer.

Have you tried an other PC and/or anoter usb cable?
Enable the sound on your computer, then plug in the K8200. You should hear an audible sound when the PC recognizes that an USB device has been plugged in.
If you do not hear this sound then the computer did not recognize a device on the USB port and the board is not working correctly.
If the board is not working correctly you can send it to:

I have tried a new USB cable
Also a new PC, (also with sound on).
But nothing happens.
