Driver problems

i have a win 7 sp1 32 bit machine and when and the driver, for the pcsu1000, from the official velleman site can’t be loaded. i think the right file in the unzipped driver file is missing: it doesn’t show up when i let my pc search for the file in the map.
Do you have a suggestion?

Windows will not find it on it’s own
You need to go into device manager right click on the pcsu1000 and then select update drive
Then you will need to guide it to the location of the unzipped driver
If you look through the forums board you find complete instructions

Yes, thanks, but even when i direct the device manager to the official driver it still seems to see it. Maybe I doing something else wrong.

Maybe try it on a different machine.

I’ve tried to add the driver on my win 8 pc en it says it a corrupt driver. Something is wrong with the driver. Where can I get another? Am i the only one with these driver problems?

Hello,

You can try this.

  1. Windows Key + R
  2. Enter shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00
  3. Click the “OK” button
  4. System will restart to a “Choose an option” screen
  5. Select “Troubleshoot” from “Choose an option” screen
  6. Select “Advanced options” from “Troubleshoot” screen
  7. Select “Windows Startup Settings” from “Advanced options” screen
  8. Click “Restart” button
  9. System will restart to “Advanced Boot Options” screen
  10. Select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”
  11. Once the system starts, install the drivers
