Hi,

I've just bought an HPS140 from Maplin (UK).  I've used it to display a DC voltage, and the display is what I expect with a stable shape.  I've changed the scales, trigger etc to get what I want but I don't understand the value displayed at the bottom right.  If I set Vmin and change the scale the value changes.

eg. on 4V/div I get -14.33V↓ on 10V/div I get -34.41V↓

The value changes as Ypos is moved. What is my Vmin?

Vmin: minimum voltage
If you change the Y-pos, you need to reset the GND reference, in order to get a correct readout.
You can reset the GND reference by setting the input to ‘GND’ until the readout is stable, next you can return to ‘AC’ or ‘DC’ coupling.
