Have a PIC-program that gives 0-5V to a PWM-controlled pin.
I want to controll a light bulb dimmer with this signal.
My first thought was to “mod” the K8026 to use this signal instead of trim pot.
I have basic skills in elektronics. Is that possible with less effort?

This will not work.
You need a dedicated 0…10V (0…5V) dimmer such as K8064.

So it should be a easy change to 0-5V intervall on that dimmer? Maybe that easy as changing a resistor or two??

No, you need to adjust the trimmers for 0…5V operation (see manual).

My project is a self leveling warm lamp (quartz). LM35 sensor under lamp will compare against a given temperature to adjust the lamp for the right power.
