Hello to all,
I have now finished to assemble my K8200.
It was a good mechanical experience : All mecanical assemblies was very good, except two pièces :
-Z axis:
I have founded that the coupling piece between the step motor and the long M8 screw is not straight.
It’s seem that the 5mm hole has not being drilled straight :
When I secure the long M8 screw to the step motor, the top of the screw describe a 20mm circle in the air in rotation !
If I fix the top of the screw to the ball bearing, it is the step motor body are physicaly moving during the rotation.
What can I do ?
- General assembly :
The 14 molded 90°angle presented all the same problem : on one side the slider channel is straith and the other face are skiew, I have to files them to be able to get its sliding on tracks.
Even after that rectification most of the pièces was not standing perpendicular : On two pièces, side to side there are out of parrallele by 20° !
I have managed to assemble the base by forcing them back on tracks, but it whose nearly impossible to assemble the extruder holder arm into the base : No one of the four 90° angle pièces aimed on the same direction, even by subtituing them.
I have to hammer them verticaly to be able to secure the two armed of extruder holder.
But, I cannot get it touching the base as a gap of 10mm remaining.
I compensate this gap by making two 10mm spacer to lower down the extruder, to be able to adjust propaly the extruder gap.
Spare pieces to be changed :
- One coupling piece between the step motor and the long M8 screw.
- At least four 90° angle assembly pieces.
Question : How to enter in French on this forum ?
During my registration, only the English langage was submittable !
