Hi,
I am an electronics technologist. I have just assembled 3 kits - 8055 USB Experiment Interface Boards.
I used the demo program to test for basic functionality - 2 of the boards worked, the 3rd does not.
By swapping PICs, I was able to determine that I have 3 functioning boards, BUT one of my PICS is not functioning.
My question:
I’m in Canada, and I don’t want to send the PIC in for replacement unless this is my only choice.
I have the K8048 PIC Programmer and Experiment Board, if I purchase a new PIC16C745 from Digikey, will I be able to program it with the correct code?
I have job related commitments, and I’d rather buy another chip at $20 than wait several weeks to get a free replacement. I hope you can help.
Thanks
Tyler
