It is odd. He has not been here since 8:th of mayā€¦ His profile here together with his paypal e-mail adress makes him easily traceable so I wonder why this stunt.

If he could just get back whats the delayā€¦[/quote]

Still nothing. Will know look into what can be done through the legal route.

I got a reply when I verified that the heatbed arrived. Marlark wrote that the rest of the beds has been sent, has apparently been hectic.

Hope your bed arrives soon.

Best reg.

Arrived Monday. Was planning on getting a spare if Marlark got any more. Probable wonā€™t after that mess-around. Know to purchase the remanding Parts. Not sure which to go for 12v or 24v.

Iā€™m going to get this psu

jbcnc.se/sv/nataggregat-c-1 ā€¦ 4-6a-p-130

Dont know where I can find a good SSRand termistor though

My self, purchased a 12v 180 watt supply from amazon and a PE at the same time.
All installed and working.
Bought replacement mounting screws and glued (epoxy) to the heatbed base. Very strong and stable. Need to give a good 48hrs to fully cure.

Well worth the time and money.

Sounds awesome.
How long does it take to get the heatbed to right temp?

No time at all. Only printing PLA at the moment so about 4 mins to reach 60 degrees.
Purchased parts from amazon.
Power supply: KeerSen DC 12V 15A 180W Switching Power Supply Ā£14.99
Hrph 3D Printer Heated Bed Power Module High Current 210A MOSFET
Anycubic NTC 3950 100K Thermistor. I chose these as the Vertex firmware was already set up for it.
YCNK 12Feet 14 Gauge (AWG) Super Soft and Flexible Silicone Rubber Wire.

Total cost around Ā£40.

This is the most worth while upgrade to the vertex printer Iā€™ve done so far.

I bought all the parts for the heatbed based on the ā€˜Heatbed for Dummies (V3)ā€™ method back in March - Marlarkā€™s plate, additional PSU, Thermistor, Power adapter and a few cables/connectors. I never got round to installing everything and I probably never will due to a change in priorities.

Iā€™d like to ask if anyone would be interested in buying the components? If thereā€™s interest Iā€™ll post a detailed list with links to the items I purchased, and work out what possible shipping my be.

Let me know
John

Iā€™m interested. Price?

Hi Iage

at the moment with winter approaching Iā€™m thinking about installing the bed after all.

I will add a comment to my post so as to no longer mislead people.
Sorry about that

John

Ah looks like I added the comment now anyway.
Folks, I decided to keep the heated bed and try to install it after all.

So, any chance these are still available? I want to buy one.

I got an answer when I checked that the heatbed arrived. Marlark composed that whatever is left of the beds has been sent, has evidently been feverish.
