Could anyone help me with installing a ramps 1.4

Not 100% how the wiring should be Are there any video TUTs available? Would l appreciate any help.

I have been trying to upload my firmware to my ramps 1.4 and I have managed to upload the firmware but when I plug my ramps in the LCD has a very high pitch scream and I am not able to use the functions of the LCD it just flickers back and forth of the menu and the temps if this makes sense. any ideas???
