Hi
Printer has been working great for 10 months then Control Board failed. After 6 months a new board arrived and a week of printing continued with great success, then one of the Leveling Aduster wheels fell off and I lifted the printer to replace the wheel but the USB cable slightly tugged on the Control Board.
After replacing the wheel I switched on the Printer:
noticed when connecting the 15DCV ON that the USB LEDS went out;
disconnected everything on the board but switching ON the 15VDC causes D1 GREEN LED to Flash 2 times;
removing all the Driver sub-boards made no difference;
pushing the RESET also causes the D1 GREEN LED to Flash 2 times.
This LED Flashes 2 times when all connections are made.
Does this mean that the board is Unserviceable again and needs replacing. (AUD$400.00) and will take another 6 months.
Thanks for your replies,
All is OK now, thanks for reminding me about the USB lights going out when the 15 Volts was applied. That gave me the idea to try again.
A number of things had happened but I think the main problem was an alarm indicating problem with the PORT. I went and changed to Baud Speed to 230400 as I didn’t think 250000 was the right setting.
No alarms but still no go, I then found the USB Plug had come out of the Computer.
No alarms but still no go.
Then, after some time investigating, I contacted you.
So, it’s going now
