my name is Wolfgang and I’m actually working on a VM165 which seems to me has power problems.
There is a 0.65 … 9.96 VDC connected to the direct current input. On the other side a 115 VAC supply is connected. Are there any known errors on demand? Because some appliances work and others not. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all. And sometimes (well maybe most of the times after a time of trying) it works properly.
I worked now with 5 of those relays and all of them didn’t work from the beginning. It took some time till they behaved like they should. And after 2 months of barely usage the 1st already quit working properly. At the beginning I thought it might be a connection problem. Because once I just put some pressure on the power supply plug and it worked. But others started to work by just regulating the VDC input up and down. Once it worked, it worked properly. Up to now. One VM165 now can control the output of a lamp but not of a fan as it did before!
I made sure that every appliance is consuming below 500 Watts. Fan is like 30 Watts and lamp is like 67 Watts.
Is there any explanation, suggestion or help? I’m also thankful for every question that might be asked.
