Connecting the 8055's inputs to the 220V~

Hello people

I’d like to connect the 8055’s inputs to a 220v~ circuit. For instance I would like to save, on my PC, when a light is on/off.
What would be the best “interface” between 220V and the 8055 input ?
I just need to use digital inputs to know if the light is on or off.

Is there a simple way just using R, C and diodes, or should I use opto-stuff or at least a voltage transformer ?

I’m sure such a use has been made already…

Thanks

You must use an optocoupler circuit, or at least a voltage transformer.
Connecting a 220V directly to your K8055, will “kill” the kit and/or PC.

No problémo !

Utilise simplement un relais 12v !

utilise des diodes de roues libres

Simply uses a relay 12v!
see example of drawings: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3542
uses free-wheel diodes
