Connecting outside Local Lan

situation : VM201 got a 192.168.0.177 IP
all my pc’s , iphone, … are also 192…
My telenet fiber modem has a 81.82.51.*** IP ( if i use ‘whatsmyip’ ) on all my divices its giving the same outside IP 81…

how can i connect to my VM201 from other location ? outside the local lan ?

New user, possibly new questions.

I used the extended user manual and configured my router. However,

  1. the VM201 comes up on a different LAN IP address if the router reboots. Yet the router requires that address to be entered to configure the port. That means that the configuration will be no good after a router reboot. Can the VM201 be set for static IP, or am I missing something?

  2. the manual says set the app to point to the router’s IP address. Is this what I get with the whatismyip query? Or am I missing something here too?
