I’m more knowledgable with the programming side then the electronics so forgive me if i’m asking a silly question.
The relay board that I’ve purchased is from Quasar Electronics and has 2 HI/LO switching relays (LO 0v - 0.8v) and (HI 2.4v - 12v). This is powered by a 12dc mains adaptor. See link below
There seems to be internal pull-up resistors at the LO inputs of this relay board.
You need just to connect two of the digital outputs of the K8055 card to the two LO inputs of the relay board.
I’ve created a wiring diagram which explains my way of thinking in the easiest way possible (its a jpeg file). Is it possible to attached/display this file so it can be viewed by anybody on this forum ??
You may upload your image to some free image hosting service.
I have used: servimg.com/
It is very easy to use.
First time you have to enter your e-mail address to get password.
After getting the password and logging in, click upload and browse to the folder where you have the image.
Click “Host it” button.
You’ll get a link to the picture uploaded.
Select the link below the text: Direct links
Image url :
Copy and paste the link to your post to this forum.
Select the link and click the Img button above the edit window.
BTW: It seems that the .PNG format images are best to use (fast to open in browser).
Hi, can you check over the diagram for me and let me know if I’m doing it correctly.

This looks OK what concerns the K8055 connection
The lamp is connected to wrong relay.
You are controlling relay #1 with the K8055 but the lamp is connected to relay #2 output.
Sorry, that’s a diagram design error, the bulb be connected to relay 1.
I presume that if I was to have a second lamp I would simply take a feed from the digital output 2 on the K8055 board and connect it to the LO2 connector on the relay board - the GRD from the K8055 to relay board is already there.
