Computer / printer communication stops

Hello,
Here’s the concern I have with my K8200 printer:
After 10-12 minutes of printing the computer / printer communication stops.
the following message appears: access to the port “COM9” is denied.

No action is possible. I have to close Reptier, turn off the computer, unplug the printer power and disconnect the USB.
I uninstall / reinstall the USB driver and Repetier but it is always the same worries.
Can you help me?

NB:Repetier V0.84; Windows7.

It’s a known issue with a few different possible causes.

Some hints :

  • use the short USB cable provided with the printer (no extension cable).
  • don’t plug your printer into a surge protected power strip and preferably in any power strip at all (use a wall outlet).

You might also use Repetier V0.90c with the .new configuration file.
