hey guys,
i bought my kit quite a while ago, and hence i have lost the CD… ive found all of the software i needed again, and i am still using the same chip as provided with the kit, but i cant seem to find a code that works like the one that comes with velleman, i was wondering if anyone has got the code examples for the PIC16f627? im in desperate need because i had built loads of circuits using this chip, but ive lost everything which was quite upsetting

Which kit are you referring to?
It says on the board a p8048 its the one with serial interface only, and and I’m using the pic16f627

After you downloaded and installed the software did you look in the install folders?
Default is c:\program files\velleman\picprog2009\examples
Now I feel stupid… Haha!
