Capacitors used in K8084 tone control circuit

Hi,

I have recently purchased a K8084 preamp kit, and noticed that ceramic capacitors have been supplied for use in the tone control circuit. However, it is well known that such capacitors are highly piezoelectric (especially the larger values), and should never be used in filters or tone controls.

I am therefore curious why these caps have been supplied, rather than polyester or polystyrene types ?

This is a low-cost kit.
Feel free to replace the caps with more expensive types.
