We are building the 3D printer and allmost done. New firmware for one head.
Lcd screen show the right things. When we turn or pressing the rotary encoder on the Side of the 3D printer. nothing happend. The submenu OR main menu didn’t show up.
What is wrong?
Bad connection? Check the wiring…
Did you add too much pressure on the rotary knob while assembling the LCD?

The flat cable looks good. The rotary knob sounds and feels oke.
We don’t put the plastic knob on the rotary because is feels to tight and we don’t want to break.

Disassemble the display and connect it unmounted and see if it works then? Bad connection between the headers or a bend pin? Otherwise open a ticket.
Kind regards

Yes we disassemble the display and connect it unmounted and it works.
I think the rotary knob is not perfect. But it works. I must found a new rotary knob change him on the print plate. So this problem is fixed. We bought the printer and it was half assembled but not everything was correct assembled. It gives a lot of double work.
Thanks
