Can K8015 timer handle this?

I need to turn on a radio transmitter for 5 minutes and keep resetting the timer so that whenever the On button is pressed the timer will reset. I think this can be done with the K8015’s ‘staircase’ mode of operation. However I have one question.

  1. Is it ok if I use a 14 V power source? the specifications say K8015 can be powered with anything up to 12 V so I am not sure how much more it can take.

14VDC would be the absolute maximum.
