Bodged printer

When i wanted to print something this morning i went trough my usual routine:

  1. turn on the power
  2. plug in the usb connector
now heres where normally the screen comes on and i start printing
    i noticed a few things:
1: that suddenly the extruder head started heating
2: the LCD shows weird blocks instead of the usual stuff,
3: the fans were hot and wouldnt spin

naturally i pulled the plug

What i’ve tried:
1: update the firmware,
2: open the printer in repetier host, it can connect and send commands to the printer

this leads me to believe that either the arduino is busted or the daughterboards,
anyone got a clue?

edit: did some lookking around the board:

what part number is the arduino ?

Ouch!

The part number of the board is VM8400MB.
This board comes without the drivers.

yea, i dont know what went wrong im just happy it (probably) didnt damage the rest of the components
the drivers i can just flash with the arduino IDE right?
