Hi,
I am a new user of the pcsu200. When I run a bode plot for frequency response I can see the plot being drawn as it is running but then it disappears as soon as the test is done. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Thanks.

Does this happen if you select other trace color in the Bode plotter’s Options -> Colors menu?
Does the trace disappear if you click the ‘Pause’ button while plotting?
You may also try other oscilloscope skin or ‘No Skin’ in the oscilloscope’s Options -> Skins menu.
Thanks for the reply. Let me try your suggestions and get back to you.
Tried different skins, as well as “no skin” - the trace still disappears
Also tried changing the color of the trace - it still disappears
If I pause mid-test, it does not disappear. but if I press stop, then it disappears.
Any other troubleshooting ideas would be helpful.
Thanks.
Strange problem indeed…
Here you can download a slightly modified PcLab200 to test:
Can you get the hidden trace back if you click the ‘Vertical Scale’ radio buttons on the top left or the ‘V range’ buttons on the top right?
I tried on a different computer and everything works fine. The problems were occurring on a 2014 Macbook Pro in bootcamp with windows 7.
On a 2008 Macbook pro in bootcamp with windows 7 everything works normally. Maybe it is something about the NVIDIA display drivers on the new macbook pro?
Anyway, when I get a chance I will try adjusting the V scale. I believe I have tried that and it did not help but I can’t remember for sure.
It’s good to see you got the Bode Plot working on other computer.
I think too the problem may be related to the display driver.
When the Bode Plot is complete, the graph is redrawn on the screen.
It seems that for some reason this redraw fails.
