To print with ABS you need a external 24V power supply to heat the bed at a suitable temperature. Or you can use a BuildTak sheet (not cheap !).
To get the ABS sticking on the bed, I spread a thin coat of PVC glue on the bed and heat it at about 85°. And I put a half centimeter brim.
The extruder temp varies with the ABS brand you’re using but is about 230-240°. Don’t use any cooling or the layers won’t stick. You’ll need to put a heat shield under the head or the heat will melt the ABS while printing small surfaces (the head stays too long at the same spot).
And you can start with the Velleman settings. Print a few test cubes to adjust the settings (mostly extrusion width and flow).
I have found that a glass plate and hair spray works well.
You do need to make sure that you don’t get any hair spray on any of the parts.
Maybe use the type that comes in a pump canister.
