Since I purchased this printer I had a kinda annoying problem with Z axis. I mean it’s NOT THAT big but:
- have some wobble and the axis stabilizer makes it worst. So it’s out
- have an annoying acute sound when moving table down from stepper motor. Not much worried about this for now
- tried the igus bearings posted in another thread on this forum and noticed that the bed arms when assembled with the third table support bent the Z rods making the table not being able to move freely. Tried several ideas to reach the same result: stuck/hard moving table.
This weekend i’m gonna take the hotend apart ( clogged ) and the table support and gonna take my time to make move freely.
Wrote all this just to ask if anyone has ever considered using drylin® N low profile guide systems.
My idea is to replace one of the rods with one one of these.
