Hi guys,
I want to know if it is possible to auto save waveform parameters of the PCSGU250 velleman oscilloscope. save data option via transient recorder can only save voltage. Is it possible to save other parameters like period, frequency etc.
Please help with useful information on how to go about this.
I’m sorry, there is no such option to save the waveform parameters in text file during the recording.
In the oscillocope mode you can print the parameters (to file) or save them as a picture.
To print the prameters:
- In Options menu select “Waveform parameters”
- Select the parameters to display
- In File menu select “Print Setup”
- Select Orientation Portrait
- Then select File -> Print
If you have printer option to print to file (eg. to PDF), you can get the waveform parameters in text.
To save the parameters as a picture:
- In Options menu select “Waveform parameters”
- Select the parameters to display
- Select the check box “Show on Screen”
- In File menu select “Save Image”
Thanks for the information.
I still want to know if ‘ReadCh1’ function in DLL of PCSGU250 is capable of ready more than the voltage of the input signal.
The ‘ReadCh1’ function reads only “raw” data in A/D converter counts (range 0 to 255).
It reads also the sample rate in Hz, full scale voltage in mV and ground level in A/D converter counts.
