AUTO HOME Y-axis very noisy

Hello everyone,

I am new in the world of 3D printing and I assembled the Velleman Vertex K8400. Before I start to print, I wanted to make sure every movement was perfect. If I click on the AUTO HOME via the lcd screen, It goes to the correct corner but it makes a terrible noise when becoming closer to the edge of the back. Then I go manually and I start to move on the Y-axis and in the beginning it’s not smooth at all at the end but in the center it’s good. When I go back to the back of the Y-axis (and do this a couple of times), it goes after a few tries very smooth but then I notice the Y-axis goes not fully to the Y end stop.

I’ve read about X/Y allignments or firmware problems, anyone knows what the problem is and the solution to this?

Kind regards
