Assembled K8056 - 8 channel relays - relay sticks

Hi,

I have 2 K8055s which i control using a java app the collector outputs are connected to the inputs of a K8056 magnetic relay board.

The relays work fine… most of the time however on both relay boards relay #3 sticks!

ie: relay #3 fails to switch unless I lightly touch the relay cantilever manually.

Are both boards faulty? I notice K8056 has been withdrawn from production, is there an inherant problem with this board? Can I fix it by replacing any components?

K8056 is still in full production.
Make sure the board receives the correct supply voltage. Measure the voltage at the coil of the relays. If it is less than 12VDC, it is possible that the relays do not operate in a reliable fashion. If the voltage is correct, replace relay.
