Hello,

I have the E3d V6 hotend and i need to calibrate the temperture and the steps per mm of the Z axis.
I saw that you can do that with the arduino software, Can someone explain how to set it up so i can do changes?

Hi, if you use repetier host there is probably no need to touch the firmware.
You can set the steps/mm for each axis via tools - Firmware EEprom config.

Only if that window shows no values you would have to reflash the firmware with
“Enable EEPROM chitchat” in configuration.h uncommented.

btw. do you really want to calibrate the Z axis?
I think you meant the “E” (extruder) steps per mm. Am i right?

I saw some posts a long time ago that the steps per mm from the z axis not quite head up?
I have some problems with lines in my prints. even if I use a flex coupling though.
