Is 1.0.6 version of arduino still needed to flash the k8200.
I have been using the latest 1.8.3 and flashing the latest marlin 1.1.3 firmware without any issues, my bed works fine and I can print fine.
Have I just seen old threads and using the old version doesn’t apply anymore.
using the latest arduino version with the latest marlin firmware isn’t an issue. That’s correct.
But the marlin firmware we deliver for the K8200 is based on an older marlin firmware version. Which is only compatible with max. Version 1.0.6 of Arduino
Should I be using your version of the firmware then or will the latest marlin firmware with the k8200 configuration files be ok, example ones were included in the source code files when downloaded.
We haven’t verified/tested the configuration ourself.
But we have faith in them it will be OK
