hi, i have a pir on a relay to the input of my k8055,
i wanted to get rid of some wires and bought the AM RF RECEIVERS. AM-HRRN-3XX and AM Hybrid Transmitter AM-RTn4XX
as a pair, followed the diagram on maplin.co.uk/Media/PDFs/vy48.pdf, and hey presto, nothing, ha ha ha…
i give the tx 12v dc, and the rx 4.9v
i have only tried putting a dc source from my psu of up to 5v,
i understand that i could send all sorts data through the tx rx pair but was just looking for a voltage or resistance change so i could latch a relay and make a switch on my k8055. simple 
do i have to use a dc pulse ?
Oh yeah, and my 2 ariels are just bits of thin wire bout 10cm long is that ok
