I was thinking about getting the E3D extruder however I found this one for half the price:
It performs well and I have no issues with it so far (~10 hours of printing). The kit was bought on ebay for around £25 so its a quick/easy/cheap upgrade. (ebay.co.uk/itm/AluHotend-V5C … 19f2ae628a)
The fan connects to the 12V output on the K8200 board. The heater cartridge and thermistor are direct replacements for the original ones.
