All my print problems!

Hi, my prints gets a bit stringy and its like the extruded filament doesnt glue together and it also changes layer position and there is a horrible noise when printing i assembled it today and itvis not my first printer! I use Cura on a mac

My filament settings

PLA 210
Flow 90
Diameter 1.75

Speed settings

Print speed 42mm/s
Retraction 40mm/s
Travel speed 75.0mm/s
Bottom layer 10mm/s

Nozzle settings

Nozzle size 0.35
Layer height 0.1

I checkes for loose belts and pulleys they were all tight!

The noise seems quite normal to me.

It seems that your nozzle is a bit too far from the bed (the first layers don’t seem to stick correctly).

The head is pretty closw to the bed closer than the guide suggested because else it wouldnt stick but do you know why its shifting layers?
do you know why its shifting layers?
Main reason for shifting layers : too much friction in the X and/or Y axis :

Extract from the Wiki :
If you set the distance between the two clamps exactly as written in the manual, chances are that the movement is only OK in the center and difficult near the end of the axis. You’ll probably have to enlarge the distance between the clamps by a few tenth of a mm so that the axis move smoothly along the full axis. This is really, really important for a proper functioning printer in the end! To achieve this you’ll have to knock away the clam, by hammering it very gently (don’t forget to insert a piece of plastic or wood between the clamp and the hammer).
And the belts must not be too tightened.

Thanks for replying i tried everything but:

I’m starting to think its not hardware problems because without any clicking sound it can jump 1cm and my prints can get smaller on one layer and larger on another and i also tried re-installing the firmware and arduino says “Low memory available, stability problems may occur.” Do you think this could cause problems or is it normal? And While printing a straight line it can suddenly stop so there will spilled a bit plastic there. Have you ever heard of these problems?

Again thanks for the help, hopefully you can give me any ideas.

Hope you understand my English.

Nvm fixed somenof the problems by re-installing the firmware with Arduiono 1.0.6 and also found out there Was a loose pulley on the motor.

Thx for helping.

The noise sounds normal  my wife loves it
