EXT8200FG is the threaded teflon part.
The other part will have a different part number.
At this time, we are still in the process of converting the spare parts system and ordercodes.
As soon as everything is up and running, all available references will be posted.
Please turn to your Velleman distributor for pricing and availability.
This what happened to my one. It wasn’t overtightened, nor was it run too hot. The tube deformed and internal diameter of the feed hole where the threaded section meets the body has increased from 3.5mm to 6.2mm. I guess that the wall was then too thin and split under pressure.
I think I have the same problem, only noticed as I was printing in green filament and I think the filament is a bit thinner (I’d describe it as slightly oily) so it oozed a transparent green liquid from just above the nut and below the ptfe connector. i haven’t unassembed, as the printer was hot, but also, is there a best method to get this out? Maybe do it after the hot end has been turned off to make the filament more pliable?
Are there any fixes?
I may look at an E3d v6 head if the replacement means that I have to buy a whole new hot end, just to get the part.
Thanks.
